The ever increasing demand for faster and novel means of audio and video communication systems and the automation in industry etc. have made the Electronics Engineers and indispensable member of the modern society. Under the worsening energy crisis, the role of an electronics engineer comprises the design and development of more efficient electronic machinery, power systems and control equipment and systems. The department has well-equipped laboratories such as Communication Engineering Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Electronic and Devices Laboratories, Network Filters & Transmission Lab,


Electronics and Communication Engineering is constantly widening its scope in every field of engineering. The prime work of the Electronics and Communication engineer is to design, fabricate, produce, test and supervise the manufacturing of electronic products for various industries. CSIO, Nokia, Samsung, Airtel, LG, Railways, Defence forces, Vodafone, and Reliance are some of the few recruiters of electronics and communication engineers.

Eligibility Criteria

» The candidate must have passed 10th Examination from H.B.S.E or recognized Board with 35% Marks.

Lateral Entry :-

» The candidate must have passed 10+2 Examination with PCM from H.B.S.E or recognized Board with 35% Marks.

» Candidates with atleast two year ITI course and must have passed 10th level school leaving examination before admission to ITI course.
